 10月21日,中國國際電視臺(tái)(英文簡寫CGTN)用三分鐘的時(shí)間,報(bào)道了中交二航局承建的重慶朝天門大橋建設(shè)背后的故事。這座建成時(shí)是世界最大跨徑拱橋的超級(jí)橋梁,有著什么樣的前世今生?它是如何承受住“5.12”汶川地震的考驗(yàn)而又毫發(fā)無損的?CGTN通過深入了解、采訪二航局大橋建設(shè)者,為您揭秘?

With the title of the Capital of Bridges in China, Chongqing is famous for having numerous bridges across mountains and rivers. Among them, the Chaotianmen Yangtze River is a great example of the city’s leading bridge building technologies in the world. 

重慶既是一座山城,也是一座水城。山巒流水之間,需要大量橋梁聯(lián)結(jié)溝通,“橋都”重慶也因此憑借領(lǐng)先世界的造橋技藝聞名于世——朝天門長江大橋就是一個(gè)很好的范例。

Chongqing is a city built on mountains, so building bridges on its terrain is never an easy task. 

重慶是一座山城,在這種地形上建造橋梁從來都不是一件容易的事情。

 

This Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge right behind me is one of a very good examples. It is located in Central Chongqing on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

With a span of 552 meters, it is the largest span arch bridge in the world. 

The bridge was designed by a subsidiary of China Communications Construction, and was open to traffic in 2009. 

我身后的朝天門長江大橋就是一個(gè)很好的例子。它位于長江上游的重慶主城區(qū)。

它的跨度為552米,是世界上最大跨徑(鋼桁架系桿)拱橋。這座橋是由中交二航局承建,并于2009年建成通車。

Chaotianmen Beige is designed like an arch bridge. Due to the constant water flow, the middle of the river is often turbulent and as such cannot support piers. While building the bridge, it was important for us to ensure that it will not affect the traffic and safety of cruise ships. We used four spherical pillars of 14,500 tons, the heaviest for any bridge in the world. We have also used nearly 50,000 tons of steel, which was much more than what was used for the Beijing National Stadium or the Bird’s Nest.

朝天門大橋是拱橋的設(shè)計(jì)造型。在建造這座橋的時(shí)候,超長的跨徑設(shè)計(jì)考慮了避開長江水流沖擊以及通航需求等一系列因素。我們(在兩個(gè)橋墩上)一共使用了四個(gè)14500噸的球形支座,這是世界最大的球形抗震支座。我們還使用了近5萬噸的鋼材,這比北京國家體育場和鳥巢所用的鋼材還要多。

Thanks to its unique design, the bridge also withstood the Sichuan Wenchuan earthquake, one of the most damaging quakes in China’s recent history. 

得益于其獨(dú)特的設(shè)計(jì),這座橋也經(jīng)受住了中國近現(xiàn)代歷史上最具破壞性的地震之一——四川汶川地震。

When the tremor occurred, the Chaotianmen Bridge was still under construction. It was swayed by 50 cm. The earthquake lasted about 1 minute, but the bridge was shaking for over 10 minutes. 

地震發(fā)生時(shí),朝天門大橋仍在建設(shè)中。大橋晃動(dòng)幅度達(dá)50公分,地震持續(xù)了大約1分鐘,但橋搖晃了10多分鐘。

Although there was a slight displacement, the structure of the bridge was still safe, and the construction proceeded normally in the next day. 

雖然有輕微的位移,但橋的結(jié)構(gòu)仍然是安全的,施工在第二天正常進(jìn)行。

The earthquake hit around 2:28 pm on May 12, 2008. The bridge construction was not yet complete. We were on the bridge and the whole structure was shaking very badly. No one told us what was going on. We thought that it would be impossible to finish our project as scheduled on May 20. But the next day, we found that the bridge was intact and in its original position. After a thorough strucutral analysis, we realized that the tseel strcuture was exteremely rigid due to our unique design. In addition, the slide board we used helped reduce friction. By May 20, we successfully completed the construction with zero errors.

地震發(fā)生在2008年5月12日下午2點(diǎn)28分。橋的建設(shè)還沒有完成。我們?cè)跇蛏?,整個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)都在劇烈地?fù)u晃。沒人告訴我們發(fā)生了什么。我們認(rèn)為在5月20日如期合龍是不可能的。但第二天,我們發(fā)現(xiàn)橋完好無損,(產(chǎn)生位移的地方)又回到了原位。經(jīng)過徹底的結(jié)構(gòu)分析,我們意識(shí)到,這得益于我們大橋獨(dú)特的設(shè)計(jì)和結(jié)構(gòu)物超強(qiáng)的剛性。此外,我們使用的滑板還有助于減少摩擦。5月20日,我們零誤差完成了大橋合龍。

With these achievements, the project has become a milestone in the chapter of China’s bridge construction. It marks that the country’s bridge building technology has reached a worldclass level, and that has also contributed to the development of China’s overall bridge construction.
